I had seen these little purple flowers bloom just out the back of our house in the mornings for days. I knew that I wanted to take a shot out there. Finally I got my chance, put on my simple black dress, set up my tripod with camera. This shot was an ordeal. It was a bit chilly out and overcast.  I tried to get the spot that I would be sitting on in focus, but it took many shots. My daughter was running about and away. I kept having to chase after her once she got too far.  Once I forgot to take off my flip-flops, many times I looked terrible and the first few weren’t in focus. It took forever, but it was worth it. I really love this shot.
