My daughter loves ducks, so my husband started saving the heals from loaves of bread and when we had quite a few we took the kids on a weekend morning to a local park that has a small pond with some ducks. It was hot and she didn’t seem too interested in the ducks after all. I guess since they weren’t rubber and yellow she didn’t know what they were. Regardless we had a good time and stopped for ice cream on the way home. This photo is from the park, pond behind me, my family off to the side out of the frame throwing bread into the water. I like this photo, it was a good day.

“A lake is the landscape’s most beautiful and expressive feature.  It is earth’s eye; looking into which the beholder measures the depth of his own nature.” ~Henry David Thoreau
