This was a totally random shot. I was at my son’s baseball game in the crazy June heat of Central Texas. It was so unbearable and our seats where in the setting sun. All you could do was drink water and take it. I had my telephoto lens on the camera, so getting a shot in focus of myself was out of the question. So I went for the blurry shot. It created a total abstraction. Can you guess what this photo is of? 🙂 The quote is exactly how I felt when I took this shot.

“Heat, ma’am! it was so dreadful here, that I found there was nothing left for it but to take off my flesh and sit in my bones.” ~Sydney Smith
