These two shots were taken at the same time. Man, I needed a hair cut and some conditioner. I’m not very found of either one of these photos. They both pretty much blow toes. Both were taken while on a walk with my kiddos. My daughter got hurt or was crying about something and that is how 305 came to be. I love that quote. The quote that goes with 306 is kind of funny considering how terrible my hair looks. Must have been a bad hair day.

Three hundred and two

I love these photos, especially together. Children do not stay little very long. When these photos were taken my daughter was so small. Now she is 3 going on 4 and the size of a kindergartener. I love having fun with my kids and I think these photos show just how ridiculous I am willing to go to make them laugh.

Both of these photos have the commonality of children. I love 295! My daughter was home sick and we were snuggled up on the couch. I love her little arms and hands laying on the blanket and my hand gently touching her wrist. She is three now and even though she can drive me absolutely bonkers at times, I love her so. 296 was taken at my son’s birthday party at the skating rink that I spent just about every Friday and Saturday night in, between the ages of 12 and 14. Memories can take you back to childhood so easily. That photo sucks, but it is more about the experience than anything. (A side note, my kid is the blonde one in the tie-dye shirt, cut off on the right hand side.)

Two hundred and twenty five

I love this photo! It was one of the first cool days of late summer in Virginia. My daughter and I were sitting on the bench swing at my parent’s house. There is something magical about a cool summer day. It makes you realize Fall is coming soon. The changes of the seasons are always special, no matter what transition it is. Simple shot of our feet and legs, no real editing, with my friend’s Nikon D40. It makes my heart swoon. Special moments are usually the simplest.

Dragonflies

I have always loved dragonflies. At some point my Mom and I started buying each other things with dragonflies on them. Whenever I see one now it reminds me of her. I know they always will, even when she is no longer in this realm with me and that gives me comfort. These are photographs I have taken over the past years, with the oldest being from 2009, plus some fun quotes. Enjoy!

All three of these shots were taken with my son’s point and shoot Nikon. The first one was a hair shot. I attempted to make it cool by changing the color, but it still sucks. I think the second one would be alright if it wasn’t so grainy. The third one isn’t very good either, but I like it because it has my kids in it. I’m not bias or anything. 😛

My husband and I were in our covered driveway drawing with sidewalk chalk with our toddling daughter. She loves to draw, even at an early age. We had a good time this day. Doing something simple as a family can be so rewarding. This is a fun overhead shot. I was attempting to get the chalk drawings in the frame. You can see a little bit.

While we were in Texas we tried to take advantage of as much as possible, knowing that our time there would eventually come to an end. My husband is a huge baseball fan. He had been keeping his eye on a site that puts up free or cheap tickets to events for military. A great deal popped up for a Texas Rangers game. We got our super cheap tickets and drove up to Arlington on a hot, late, May evening. Our seats were in the nose bleed section, we were in the sun, it was hot and we had to leave early, but it was worth it. The Ballpark at Arlington is really great. I’m glad we got to go. Baseball isn’t my fav, but I love going to games. Watching on TV… that’s a different story. 😛 This shot was is from my seat, with my hot, sweet baby girl on my lap. Happy times!

One hundred and forty-four

When your daughter is as smart, sweet, silly and cute as mine it’s hard not to take photos of her and with her. She’s usually my photographic subject. I love my kids with all my heart. Wow that was super cheesy. Not the greatest photo, but it’s a special moment in time. They don’t stay little for long. I believe this is her fourth appearance in my 365 project and probably won’t be her last.

I love this photo! It truly was a happy moment and I just happened to grab my camera and snag a photo. Had both my babies on my lap and we were laughing and carrying on. Good times!
