I had seen a pin on Pinterest about making a lens cover for your camera that had a heart cut into it. The final product being a photo that was black around the edges and the only visible part would be in the shape of a heart. I had pinned it to my To Do…Maybe board because I thought it was a neat idea.  If you want to check it out the link is provided above. Sometime later I made one, but I cut slits into it instead of a heart. I think I used some thick cardstock. I stood in front of a window and tried some different shots. This was the result. It is definitely something I would do again with any type of shape. This particular shot isn’t the greatest, but it was fun to play with something new.

Like I promised I made some more magnets. I created the design in Photoshop, used only black ink and a little acyclic paint for color. Image transfers are pretty fun, you never really know how they are going to turn out. These three are for sale in my Etsy Shop, along with many other goodies.

I wasn’t sure what I was going to end up with for day forty-seven. I knew that I wanted to use the pattern on the sleeve of one of my favorite long sleeve shirts. I photographed that first and then took some shots of my face. I thought this was the most interesting, basically because of the composition. I layered many of the same image of the pattern on top. Some are flipped, some turned, some larger and smaller. I like the warm pinks and purples. I am pleased with the texture and pattern. I can see myself doing more like this with different patterns.
